Nigeria and African at large mourns the death of former Nigeria captain and coach Stephen Keshi from a cardiac arrest at the age of 54.
Keshi died suddenly in the early hours of Wednesday 8/6/16 in Benin City in southern Nigeria.
Before his death, Keshi was planning to
return to U.S later that day.
Keshi AKA "Big Boss" would be remembered always for his leadership skills, He had earlier lost his wife, last December after a three-year battle with cancer and is survived by four children.
Late Stephen led Nigeria to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title, defeating Burkina Faso in the final in South Africa before guiding them to the second round of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
As He is also one of only two men to have won the Africa Cup of Nations as both a player and coach.
There is no doubt that the sports community has lost another legend after Muhammed Ali, From all of us here We wish consolation to his family as Keshi would not be forgotten in a hurry.
