An airplane Identified as Delta airplane caught fire while still on ground at the Nashville US airport Early this morning. It was gathered that the airplane was heading to Cincinnati, the tail of the plane caught fire after the Pilot had turned on the engine.
No injuries or Casualties were recorded as passengers were immediately vacated from the airplane, the airplane would sure need serious repair. a passenger expressed his surprise at how the whole thing happened saying they heard no noise or suspicions.
The captain in charge dismissed the drama, saying that the incident wasn't as bad as it sounds on social media, adding that everyone is fine, and blamed it on a little inconvenience and technical factors.
such might not be the case if it happened in mid air, sure Delta airplane needs to start an overhaul and proper check of their "birds" and not just dismiss this incident like that.
their is no doubt that some passenger might still feel uncomfortable flying with the airline, at least for the next few days, except a kind of assurance comes up from the Delta airlines management.
